Why did I receive a security alert email about activity on my Realio Account?

If you received a security notification about login activity or a 2FA code on the Realio Platform, it most likely means an action triggered a security check on your account. This could be due to:

  • An unrecognized IP address – Logging in from a new location or device.
  • A verification code request – Some action or login attempt triggered a verification code associated with your account.
  • A password reset request – A password reset request was made using the email associated with your  Realio account.

What to Do Next:

  • If this was you – No action is needed. If you were using a VPN or a new device, the system may have flagged it as unfamiliar.
  • If this was NOT you – Take immediate action:
    • Check your email inbox for any suspicious activity.
    • Change your Realio account password to a strong and unique combination.
    • Ensure your 2FA method (Email or Authenticator App) is secure.

💡 On the Realio Platform, you can configure 2FA with email or an authenticator app. Using an authenticator app is recommended for stronger security.
