Why Did I Receive a Security Notification About Activity on my Freehold Wallet Account?

If you received a security notification regarding login activity or a 2FA code, it most likely means an action triggered a security check on your Freehold Wallet account. This could be due to:

  • An unrecognized IP address – Logging in from a new location or device.
  • A verification code request – Some action or login attempt triggered a verification code via email, phone, or authenticator app.
  • A password reset request – A password reset request was made using the email associated with your Freehold account.
  • An unsuccessful login attempt – Someone entered your username and attempted to log in. However, successful login requires both your password and a valid 2FA code.

What to Do Next:

  • If this was you – No action is needed. If you were using a VPN or a new device, the system may have flagged it as unfamiliar.
  • If this was NOT you – Take immediate action:
    • Check your email inbox for any suspicious activity.
    • Change your Realio account password to a strong and unique combination.
    • Ensure your 2FA method (Email, Phone, or Authenticator App) is secure.

💡 Freehold Wallet requires at least one authentication method (Email, Phone, or Authenticator App) to enhance security. Using an authenticator app is recommended for stronger protection.
