How can I acquire LMX tokens?

Note: To interact with LMX tokens, you must complete KYC verification and whitelist your wallet addresses through the Realio Platform.

Liquid Mining Fund (LMX) is a tokenized investment fund that provides exposure to Bitcoin mining operations. It leverages immersion cooling technology and hydroelectric power to enhance efficiency and sustainability. LMX allows investors to participate in Bitcoin mining without managing hardware, offering a real-world asset-backed crypto investment.

KYC Verification and Whitelisting

To interact with LMX tokens on the Realio Platform, you must complete the following steps:

  1. Create an Account: Visit the Realio platform and sign up for an account.
  2. KYC Verification: Complete the Know Your Customer (KYC) process to verify your identity. U.S. residents must also meet accreditation requirements to comply with regulations.
  3. Sign an NDA – You must review and sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA).
  4. Whitelisting: Ensure your wallet address is whitelisted on the Realio platform to enable interactions with regulated instruments like RST and LMX.

How to Buy

You can acquire LMX tokens on the Realio Platform by using its swap and DEX features, which operate on the Stellar Network. To do this:

  • Deposit funds into your Realio wallet using supported cryptocurrencies, such as RIO or other Stellar-compatible tokens like XLM.
  • Swap or bridge your funds into RST or LMX tokens using the platform's interface.

Additionally, RST and LMX tokens may be available on decentralized exchanges like Uniswap or through bridging from other networks. For more information about managing and interacting with LMX, refer to the “Strategies for LMX Investors” article.

Staking LMX Tokens

Staking your RST and LMX tokens contributes to the security and growth of the Realio Network while earning you network rewards. Tokens can be staked through the Realio Network’s staking platform or the Network App. For staking on the Network App:

  • You will need to whitelist your external native wallet address to enable staking of RST and LMX.

For detailed instructions on staking, please refer to the Realio Network Staking Guide.
